100th Post

Yay, this is my 100th entry on this blog! I thought I had to make it special and so I was thinking what I could write about. Nothing seemed special enough, although there were lots of things.

Renai had another live, this time near Mannheim, which is really far away from Berlin and we had to stay for the whole weekend.
Our live was quite good... why only quite? Because the monitoring was immensly loud, that none of us could hear herself singing ... meaning we were too loud or too silent or not on tone or or or ... it was really confusing. -_- We also made a lot of dancing mistaktes ... somehow the whole performance was just too weird!! Can you imagine?!

But for the evening we went to a ballroom dance. It was kinda interesting and I was really looking forward to it, because it was the first time for me. Everyone looked awesome! Let me show you some pictures! :D I must excuse, because the quality kinda sucks ... the lobby was dark and we had to use flash...

Aaaaaand today... is actually my birthday! I'm getting older and older. X.X
Yesterday was my stageplay ander after that, my friends were with my and the whole ensemble waited for me to turn older. Everybody sang for me and it was really a nice turn. I still wish, it never happened. T_T

And today I celebrated with my family. My parents, grandparents and me, we all went for lunch and we had cake aaaand I got presents... maybe I should show you some pics tomorrow.

Puah! Stress, Stress, STRESS!!!

Gestern war Giny bei mir und wir haben Taboo von Koda Kumi gelernt. Den Tanz schieben wir schon eeeewig vor uns her, obwohl wir ihn schon längst mit aufführen sollten. Letztendlich konnten wir uns nicht mehr drücken...

Allerdings wurde der Tag noch sehr interessant, denn wir bekamen eine sehr mysteriöse Mail ... darauf folgte ein absolut umwerfender Anruf ... aber ich darf noch nix sagöööön, hehe~

Morgen hat Renai außerdem ein sehr wichtiges Gespräch, aber auch dazu schweige ich erstmal still. Warum ich es dann überhaupt erwähne? Gute Frage!

Auch in der Uni muss ich ein bisschen was machen. Donnerstag muss ich einen Vortrag halten und zwar über die National Association for the Advacement of Colored People und über die Southern Christians League Conference. Nicht nur, dass wir die Vorträge auswerten (sonst interessieren die immer kein Schwein!), nein, ich bin auch noch die erste, buh! Und dann hab ich auch noch n Thema, was eigentlich für zwei Leute ist. Ich hab schon überlegt, ob ich Mittwoch die Vorlesungen schmeiße, aber da ich irgendwann Klausur schreiben muss und es momentan sehr interessant ist (I. WK) will ich eigentlich ganz gern gehen.

Außerdem muss ich auch noch was für ein anderes Seminar lesen. Wenigstens hab ich den Text schon mal überflogen, bin ich vorbereitet.

Ach ja ... unnötig zu erwähnen, dass Renai am nächsten Samstag auch noch nen Auftritt hat. Aber das gilt momentan ja für fast jede Woche...

Irgendwie will ich auch mal wieder Lolita tragen, menno!

Aber ich konnte heute meine Schuluniform tragen - zwar nur für ein Dance Cover, aber das macht nichts. Ich bin echt zufrieden mit dem Tanz und mit meinem Look. Hach ja. *-*

Na ja, ich schau mir jetzt mal wieder "Mathilde - eine große Liebe an" ... gerad eben war ich bei der Stelle, wo er naiv sagt: "Ich bin froh, dass wir verurteilt wurden. Dann muss ich nicht warten, bis der Krieg vorbei ist, sondern kann gleich nach Hause, sobald die Exekution vorbei ist."
Wirklich herzzerreißend! T_T

Renai Revolution Concert

Yesterday Renai Revolution went to Braunschweig to attend NiSaCon#2!

Although it was a quite small convention (still practicing here...), the audience was actually excisting (not as natural as you might think) and I think they've enjoyed our program!

We left Berlin around 9am, which is quite a late time for showgroups, but it was good for us.

Everyone's still quite tired, although it's not that late as a matter of fact!
Giny and Gena came WAY too late - like 5 minutes before our train left, but they made it. If not, they would have missed the train AND the live and we would have felt the need to kick their asses really badly.
They overslept ... still can't believe it.

So of course they weren't ready with styling and such.

Oh and Gena had to finish her dance outfit, which at that time could have hold Laureen twice!

Waiting in Magdeburg, we had to switch trains.

The final hour in train to Braunschweig. Wow, I sure have a lot of inside train pictures, haven't I? But what can I say? IT'S ALL WE'VE SEEN!

Yay, we've already unpacked some neonlight! They're just so tempting ... some (drunk) guys even asked if they cold buy some from us, but sorry guys! We needed them.

Gena. All I have to say!

Leader and Sub-Leader! Picture quality is so bad, but it was SO dark, that I had to lighten in up in order to actually see something. We wanted to retake the pic, but then forgot it.

Mina's a Psyduck! We thought about who could be which Pokemon and because Mina's colour is yellow and she had a headache, she got the Enton.

I was a Jigglypuff or something like this, because my special attack is Charme.
Nikki said of herself, she would be Snorlax, but I think she'd be more of a Geodude.
And Laureen? I don't know, maybe Charmander, because she's hot?

We finally arrived Braunschweig!

Ha, a great picture! But sadly I'm not in it, because as a matter of course I'm taking it! Damn it!!!

Then, we had our performance and it was really great! Videos will be up very soon.

I think we were really great.

Everybody told me how my singing was really great and how I've improved so much, but I'm not so sure. I've listend to the recording again und I feel I'm putting too much throat in every tone. Maybe I'm to critical with myself, but I think I still have a LONG way to go until I'm a good singer.

At the end, we've split up into teams of four, because some wanted to stay a little longer and some wanted to leave. So Laureen, Mina, Nikki and I took the train home, while Yumi, Giny, Tuti and Gena stayed.

I'm very happy about the day. Our next live will be MMC in Berlin! It'll be a lot more complicated, because we won't have enough mics and have to adapt our program. Oi vey...
