Morning Musume Poster Sale

I'm broke! Well ... not broke yet, but like really poor. That's why, I'm selling my precious on ebay - my Morning Musume poster collection.

I've had the calendars for like 4 years now amd I'm not intending to stop buying them. But as much as I love Momusu I can never hang all the posters! Never!!! I mean unless I decide for posters instead of wallpapers but that would be slightly insane.

So when you're a big, big fan and you don't have the money to buy a whole calendar or pay the shipping fees from Asia, but you still won't to own an original poster (so nothin you've printed yourself), then I recommend taking a look:

Just an example of what you get:

No Puri No Life Giveaway

When you're a Japan lover, you've probably already heard about Purikura! You know? These lovely, colorful pics you make in specially designed booths? When I was in Japan, I fell in love with these machines and collected lots of puris.
Imagine my anger, when I found out, that the only Purimachines in my country are in cities quite far away! Not in my city ... and I live in the capital!!
Anyway... A while ago I found a cute blog, that's all about Purikura! And now the author Samantha is hosting a giveaway because she's celebrating her 2nd anniversay.
You should really check it out~~~

Let's just keep it together!!!

Tomorrow is a very important day in this semester. I'm giving a report in front of the class. Everybody has to do it once, but the thing is ... I hate this shi*t!!! I really suck at delivering speeches, especially when it's important. My nerves usually kill me...
The topic tomorrow will be "The Shadows of Globalization". Totally awesome, right? I not only have to give that damn presentation, I have to act it out so that people think I know what I'm talking about... I actually learned the whole thing by heart, but now it's too rehearsed. College, oh college...

So yeah, I got to watch "Are all men pedophiles?" today. That's a documentary, that caused some serious drama, because of a Lolita on the movie poster. I don't really know, what to think about it... I don't think it's very good, but not because of the Lolita thing, but because the "experts" where sorta unbelievable (I mean that priest, that explained, why it was all very understandable. Like serious?) and there were some spelling mistakes. In a documentary... like "psycologist" instead of "psychologist." It's weird...
In the end, I think they answered their question quite safely. Like yes and no, it depends on the definition.
I don't know.
Wasn't shocked, that it didn't get an Oscar nomination...

SPEAKING OF WHICH!
(master of transition)
It's going to be Oscar time soon! I LOVE the Oscars and I've been watching them since I couldn't understand a word they were saying (so almost 10 years now?). My mom and I usually watch them together and it's always like:
>Joke<
*me laughs*
Mom: "What did he say?"
*me translates*
>another joke<
Mom: "What did he say?"

I got used to it... but still, I can't wait for it, especially for the hosts. This year Seth MacFarlane will host the show and I'm curious, because I don't really know him.

Catch Up

So, what's been going on lately?

First of all, I've been reading a lot. You might know, that I dream about being an author and to be good at writing you have to read. Sounds weird, I know, but that's the way it works. So I'm going to the library and bringing home books over books. I've discovered some real treasures like the new Swedish novel "Circle" or my love for books about Africa.

I even got it for Christmas...
I guess, if you'd asked my friends they'd never believe that I wouldn't read for quite a while because I kinda live in a library. My room is full of books! But I need them - they never lie to you, you know?
What else?
Of course, I've started the third semester in college, which isn't new at all, because it's been 3 months already. I got myself into a Japanese class and had to start with the beginner level again. It was annoying that after 3 years of actual experience I had to start all over again with stuff like "Nice to meet you. My name is..." My sensei is also very ... well ... you could call it strict if you were being nice - no shortcuts! The good thing is, I learn Kanji a lot now! I've learned some before but not very intensly... interesting is, we're learning the Kanji, that come with the lecture, so I already know the one for science and library but not the one for mouth or eye ... It's kinda hard, but I like it. Weird...

It means 'beautiful'

Oh yeah, Disney On Ice didn't come to Berlin in 2012! Maybe it's not a big deal, but I noticed it a few days ago and was a little upset. It's always a cute show and I love, not being the oldest kid there.
Well, you can't change that I guess, I had distraction. For the first time in ... I don't know ... MONTHS OVER MONTHS, I went to the movies and watched

It is so freakin' amazing!! The moment I came back home, I was like: "I wanna go again!" and "What do you think, when will it be out on DVD?" I really loved it so much! Martin Freeman (not in the picture...) who plays the Hobbit Bilbo, is SO good! I loved him in an instant an he makes Bilbo very sympathetic. He also plays Doctor Watson in the British New Sherlock Holmes and you know, he's good. When you think about it, it's kinda funny, that Elijah Wood, who played Frodo in 'The Lord of the Rings' was not even 18 when they started recording and the actor of Bilbo is 41 ... Oh well...

In only one week, Renai will have its first performance of 2013 with our new tour... I'm so nervous, because our songs aren't even close to perfect and I don't know how we're going to do this. With a lot of luck, I guess. And now, we're having that one boyband song, that only 5 out of 8 members can dance and it's supposed to be in the show. What are we going to do?
Oh well, it's going to be full chaos I guess. The first performance is always experimental. I'm just afraid that one day the convention will say: "You always sucked here, don't come back!"
No, that's not going to happen. Just lately, I've been having nightmares of Renai screwing up a concert over and over again.

See you soon~~~

New Year Resolutions

It's 2013! Time really flies. Just as everyone else, I've been eating and celebrating the holidays and made some resolutions:

1. Finish my book. You might laugh but I'm actually really close. I might finish it in January or February latest. Only a few chapters are left and I want to start correncting all the bullshit I wrote. I'm afraid it's part of the process.
2. Sports! My sport level rose during 2012 and I'm proud of that but it's still not continuous - sometimes I'm not doing anything for a whole week and then the next week I'm making sport everyday. I have to get some rhythm in that.
3. Do something about the anger. I think I have a lot of unresolved anger in me and that's why I can't stand people. We always start out nice but after a while (usually 1 1/2 to 2 years) I'm so pissed off. I just can't unsee all the little bad habbits, that everyone has. I for sure am not perfect. No one is. But it's driving me INSANE! I have to learn to take people the way they are and stay calm about it. We have to accept, what we can't change.
4. Study harder. I really have to! I made a good start during the holidays and I want to keep it that way. I hate to sit in class and  tohave no idea, what that guy is talking about. Or who he actually is. And what class am I talking exactly?
5. Keep reading, you missed it so much!
6. Work harder in Renai? I guess? I don't know, I'm already working really hard on that...
7. Keep on improving your voice. It's gonna be alright.
8. Clean your room more oft... ah... naa.... not gonna happen.
9. Eat more fibers.
10. Blog more. Like seriously. I'm not using this blog anymore and I' missing it to write in English. Lately, I'm always here: http://sweets-spirits.blogspot.de/ where I blog in German about books and food and everything that doesn't include me, posting pictures of myself. I really started hating that.

So yeah, those are my resolution and I hope I can keep a few of them... hey, I'm realistic.
Finally, I'd like to show you a flyer I made today about our next Renai Revolution concert. It's going to be a graduation special.
