Let's just keep it together!!!
Tomorrow is a very important day in this semester. I'm giving a report in front of the class. Everybody has to do it once, but the thing is ... I hate this shi*t!!! I really suck at delivering speeches, especially when it's important. My nerves usually kill me...
The topic tomorrow will be "The Shadows of Globalization". Totally awesome, right? I not only have to give that damn presentation, I have to act it out so that people think I know what I'm talking about... I actually learned the whole thing by heart, but now it's too rehearsed. College, oh college...
So yeah, I got to watch "Are all men pedophiles?" today. That's a documentary, that caused some serious drama, because of a Lolita on the movie poster. I don't really know, what to think about it... I don't think it's very good, but not because of the Lolita thing, but because the "experts" where sorta unbelievable (I mean that priest, that explained, why it was all very understandable. Like serious?) and there were some spelling mistakes. In a documentary... like "psycologist" instead of "psychologist." It's weird...
In the end, I think they answered their question quite safely. Like yes and no, it depends on the definition.
I don't know.
Wasn't shocked, that it didn't get an Oscar nomination...
SPEAKING OF WHICH!
(master of transition)
It's going to be Oscar time soon! I LOVE the Oscars and I've been watching them since I couldn't understand a word they were saying (so almost 10 years now?). My mom and I usually watch them together and it's always like:
>Joke<
*me laughs*
Mom: "What did he say?"
*me translates*
>another joke<
Mom: "What did he say?"
I got used to it... but still, I can't wait for it, especially for the hosts. This year Seth MacFarlane will host the show and I'm curious, because I don't really know him.

Catch Up
So, what's been going on lately?
First of all, I've been reading a lot. You might know, that I dream about being an author and to be good at writing you have to read. Sounds weird, I know, but that's the way it works. So I'm going to the library and bringing home books over books. I've discovered some real treasures like the new Swedish novel "Circle" or my love for books about Africa.

| I even got it for Christmas... |
Of course, I've started the third semester in college, which isn't new at all, because it's been 3 months already. I got myself into a Japanese class and had to start with the beginner level again. It was annoying that after 3 years of actual experience I had to start all over again with stuff like "Nice to meet you. My name is..." My sensei is also very ... well ... you could call it strict if you were being nice - no shortcuts! The good thing is, I learn Kanji a lot now! I've learned some before but not very intensly... interesting is, we're learning the Kanji, that come with the lecture, so I already know the one for science and library but not the one for mouth or eye ... It's kinda hard, but I like it. Weird...

Oh yeah, Disney On Ice didn't come to Berlin in 2012! Maybe it's not a big deal, but I noticed it a few days ago and was a little upset. It's always a cute show and I love, not being the oldest kid there.
Well, you can't change that I guess, I had distraction. For the first time in ... I don't know ... MONTHS OVER MONTHS, I went to the movies and watched
In only one week, Renai will have its first performance of 2013 with our new tour... I'm so nervous, because our songs aren't even close to perfect and I don't know how we're going to do this. With a lot of luck, I guess. And now, we're having that one boyband song, that only 5 out of 8 members can dance and it's supposed to be in the show. What are we going to do?
No, that's not going to happen. Just lately, I've been having nightmares of Renai screwing up a concert over and over again.
See you soon~~~

Hanami 2012 and more
Yay!
So last week, college's 2nd semester started and this time I'm taking classes in modern history. I'm really happy. I'm learning stuff about the civil rights movement and about pirates and about Europe's international relations during the 19th century. Quite some interesting stuff. Actually, I was supposed to study this weekend (or rather not study, but carefully read some texts, because the one prof seems strict), but I just didn't do it. Instead, I was spending Saturday by doing nothing and today was Hanami.
I went there with Lau.chan and we tried to pull off Lolita for a whole day for the first time! I'm going to use pics from her blog, because I'm too lazy, to load them myself.^^""
It was Lau.chan first time to actually wear Sweet Lolita and she did a great job! She never wore the shoes before, a big headpiece and she's not a wig-person (unsolved mystery...)
I've completely dressed her up as my own little doll,^^"" but from now on, she can surely pull off Lolita herself.
Rrrrr, my petticoat was always showing, damn it! >_<
Some other Renai girl's were there, too.
Mina as maid
and Giny as the handicaped pokemon Teddiursa, which lost its moon...
Yumi was there too, she was being Misty from Pokemon, but we didn't take any pictures with her. >_<
At the end, I was just really tired and my feet are killing me!! But it was really fun and we were invited to a Lolita group (can you believe it, they invited us!), I've met an old friend from school (gotta write her an e-mail soon!) and people've been taking our picture all the time, so now there are quite some pictures of us circling around ... kinda weird ... but kinda awesome.

Country Lolita Tea Party + Alice and the Black Cat
Ahoihoi everyone! It's been so long since my last post, I'm really sorry!! I've been busy with college and my first paper. In one week, I'm going to write a term paper and I've just started learning... I should have started like a week ago, but the stupid paper ruined my whole plan. And on Thursday, I have to deliver the topic for the next paper and I need a source ... I have a book full of great sources, which are all about my topic ... and they're all in Latin! Damn it. T_T I'll be so happy when this semester is over, cause then I'm definitly not going to do anything Middle Ages related again!
Today, I've also posted another blog entry for girls.subarashi.de. This time, I've had a Countrylolita dress, which is really pretty and I like it a lot.
The theme was tea party!
But ... the stupid zipper just doesn't work properly!! The dress fits perfectly, someone's helping and still it doesn't work! This time it was so bad, I had to hold the dress together with safetey pins. So annoying!!!!!!! Please, get better zippers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND!! The dress, I've bought like 5 months ago, finally arrived! It's a Replica (tam tam taaam) of Baby the Stars Shine Bright's Alice and the Black Cat.
Please ignore the black petticoat! I have a white one on the way ... it's actually soooooooo close ... just have to get it from the post office on Monday, but I couldn't wait.
It's so pretty and I LOVE IT! Well ... almost ... it would be perfect if it wasn't a babydoll... I've ordered a normal waist but I don't have any comparison. Is this really a normal waist?? Seems a lot like high waist to me ... and if it is normal waist how high is high?? Weird, really weird. I'm not a big fan of baby dolls, they only look awesome on skinny, flat girls. I mean, this one isn't bad at all! From the front, I think, it looks really cute and in combination with the wig, it looks good. But from the side I look pregnant ... with twins. Don't know what to do about it... I don't want to send it back, it's so cute and took so long! But somehow.... argh! Seems, it's impossible to get the perfect look!!
Any tips how to safe this??? Maybe I should wear it with a cardigan...
Well then, back to the desk! T_T

New Year's resolutions
2012 is here! Am I happy? Not so sure 'bout that... Time is flying by and every new year, means one less for me...
Who cares, it's not like I can do anything about it!!
Do you made any pledges? I think New Year is the best time to start being the person you want to be. Maybe start a new hobby or set a goal or working on your character. In my opinion, people, who think they've build a good enough self, are just lazy or plain stupid!
Anyway, what are my resolutions?
01. Meet new people and make new friends! No, I don't mean to exchange my current friends, but in 2011 I've learned, that there is nothing more important than connections! Whenever you need something, it's best to know someone, "who can help you with it." Like why not meet people from all over the world or many different jobs?? Maybe someday you'll need a great lawyer and you're lucky and have one in your friend list? Who knows?
02. Sell a book. Sounds weird, but that's basically it. This year, for the mother of God, I'm going to finish a book and hopefully find a publisher. I know I can do it and I will do it! Even bought a net book and build some free periods in my schedule, so I'll work.
Damn it! I want something, I can be proud of!!!
Lots of people tell me, I've already reached a lot ... Got good A-levels, got into university, had a stay abroad, seen a big part of the world, founded an awesome group and fought my demons.
But is it enough? I don't feel it is, there gotta be more.
03. Survive the first semester and find some joy in studying. Currently it's not that clear. I kinda like going to college, but I'm not used to all the work, that I awaits me at home. I can't wait for next semester, cause then I'll finally learn something about New History ... Bye Bye Middle Ages!!
04. Bring Renai Revolution to a new level. 2011 was really good for us. I don't think many showgroups manage it to get a sponsor, appear in a magazine and have several performances in their debut year. 2012 will be even better, because we'll have more magazine appearances, make a CD and try to knock on some big doors.
Hopefully, we can get some more fans, that'll be great!!
05. Don't gain any weight. Most people try to loose weight, but I'm happy as long as I don't gain it! Sometimes holding your weight can be a challenge as well.
06. Read a lot more. Last year I've read only a few books, I'm a little sad.
07. Go out more often! I really like to meet my friends more often, but I'm so tired of always being the one, who asks them out. So maybe this year, why don't you invite me from time to time?
08. Go to Japan. Actually something I've wanted to achieve last year ... and I was so close, already had the tickets... but then ... oh my. Well this year is the year!
09. Wear Lolita more often and get some new things. Yeah ... explains itself, right?
10. Do something about that sleeping problem...

End of the year
Oh well, Christmas is over and I'm really pumped out...
Also, my holidays aren't very relaxing. I might have had one week more of free days, but every day is filled with book reports, reviews, discussion papers or oral presentation. It's like school's mocking me: "You have more free days to work at home!"
New Year's Eve is near, too. Somehow, this year I didn't make any plans at all and let it just coming. Really a lot of people asked me, if I wanted to join them and I was always like: "Ah, well, I'll think about it", because I had my mind somewhere else in the clouds.
Oh and by the way, check this out! The best Christmas Carol (although Christmas is over ... ah, what the heck) in the world:

And worse: First schoolday in the new year will be January, 2nd ... every prof canceled its lesson ... except for the first one, which is at 8am! I'm so pissed. -_-
But before that, there are a few days left, that I can use to ... uh ... learn... I hate my life.
Now I kinda missed the train, damn it! oO
Let's see, what I'm going to do about it...Oh and by the way, check this out! The best Christmas Carol (although Christmas is over ... ah, what the heck) in the world:

Democracy and Oligarchy
Today in college we've learned the differences of democracy and oligarchy (everything else, that's not democracy) ... not specifically what they are, because we all know that, but how they emerged in Ancient Greece. It was really interesting and my prof is so into the topic, he makes it actually quite fun!
Like today, he told the story of a people's spokesperson, who was going to be executed. But the night before he was so drunk, that he couldn't leave his house and the people murdered someone else, who they thought was him. The next day, they realized they got the wrong guy and the right one was still there!
Lucky guy... he lived because he drank too much.
Anyway, I think this might be a possible topic for our examination in February. Differences between the two things, maybe with the examples of Athens and Sparta. Hm, wouldn't be all too bad, I think I could do it...

So boring, so boring... and a little Lolita
What can I say?? I REALLY WANT TO BLOG MORE! But I don't know what I can talk about...
Currently, my whole life is just so boring.
Studying, training, rehearsal, studying, training, rehearsal, studing, traning reharsal, sting, tring, resal ... oi vey
IT'S JUST SO BORING!!!
Talking about university really isn't that interesting at all. I have to read a lot and when I'm done with that, I have to read some more...
In my Ancient World seminar we're currently talking about the conflict between Octavian and Antonius, which rings no bells in your mind, right?
It's actually not that bad at all... the main point is all about women during that time and I also have to read this book:
Which is quite good. So far, I've read like 1/3 of the book but I'll keep reading, so next weekend I'll be through half way.
In my Middle Ages seminar we're always talking about the 14th century, which is the topic. Currently we're talking about epidemics. It's really interesting, but also extremely disgusting, too.
Did you know, that the big Black Death epidemic, that killed like 1/3 of the European people, very likely wasn't the Black Death, but another much more dangerous desease.
Most people don't like history, but when you look at it from another point of view, it's often like solving ancient mysteries!
What else?
Oh right! I'll be going to Disney on Ice!! I'm so happy! I'm sure I'll be like the oldest "kid" but it doesn't matter to me.
This year's theme is "Princesses and Heroes", which sounds really cheesy and for girls.
I don't like the "Disney Princesses" concept very much, because I think a girl should slay her own dragons, but what the heck!
I'm sure the music will be great and there'll be some awesome iceskating involved! I hope they'll have Stitch, he always makes my day, but I doubt it... he's not very princessy...
I've also had a new Lolita shooting. It's Classic Lolita again and I feel like they're trying to pigeonhole me as a certain age type.
I really want to wear Sweet Lolita, too!! I'm still a girl! Please stop dressing me like a matron. Not always classic, not always dark colors, not always weird sleeve lengths! Please, either a JSK or an OP ... not these middle sleeves, I never know if I have to wear a blouse or not!
Ha well ... at least, I've managed to get a cute Country Lolita dress ... but it's almost December, damn it! oO
