No Puri No Life Giveaway

When you're a Japan lover, you've probably already heard about Purikura! You know? These lovely, colorful pics you make in specially designed booths? When I was in Japan, I fell in love with these machines and collected lots of puris.
Imagine my anger, when I found out, that the only Purimachines in my country are in cities quite far away! Not in my city ... and I live in the capital!!
Anyway... A while ago I found a cute blog, that's all about Purikura! And now the author Samantha is hosting a giveaway because she's celebrating her 2nd anniversay.
You should really check it out~~~

New Year's resolutions

2012 is here! Am I happy? Not so sure 'bout that... Time is flying by and every new year, means one less for me...
Who cares, it's not like I can do anything about it!!

Do you made any pledges? I think New Year is the best time to start being the person you want to be. Maybe start a new hobby or set a goal or working on your character. In my opinion, people, who think they've build a good enough self, are just lazy or plain stupid!

Anyway, what are my resolutions?

01. Meet new people and make new friends! No, I don't mean to exchange my current friends, but in 2011 I've learned, that there is nothing more important than connections! Whenever you need something, it's best to know someone, "who can help you with it." Like why not meet people from all over the world or many different jobs?? Maybe someday you'll need a great lawyer and you're lucky and have one in your friend list? Who knows?

02. Sell a book. Sounds weird, but that's basically it. This year, for the mother of God, I'm going to finish a book and hopefully find a publisher. I know I can do it and I will do it! Even bought a net book and build some free periods in my schedule, so I'll work.
Damn it! I want something, I can be proud of!!!
Lots of people tell me, I've already reached a lot ... Got good A-levels, got into university, had a stay abroad, seen a big part of the world, founded an awesome group and fought my demons.
But is it enough? I don't feel it is, there gotta be more.

03. Survive the first semester and find some joy in studying. Currently it's not that clear. I kinda like going to college, but I'm not used to all the work, that I awaits me at home. I can't wait for next semester, cause then I'll finally learn something about New History ... Bye Bye Middle Ages!!

04. Bring Renai Revolution to a new level. 2011 was really good for us. I don't think many showgroups manage it to get a sponsor, appear in a magazine and have several performances in their debut year. 2012 will be even better, because we'll have more magazine appearances, make a CD and try to knock on some big doors.
Hopefully, we can get some more fans, that'll be great!!

05. Don't gain any weight. Most people try to loose weight, but I'm happy as long as I don't gain it! Sometimes holding your weight can be a challenge as well.

06. Read a lot more. Last year I've read only a few books, I'm a little sad.

07. Go out more often! I really like to meet my friends more often, but I'm so tired of always being the one, who asks them out. So maybe this year, why don't you invite me from time to time?

08. Go to Japan. Actually something I've wanted to achieve last year ... and I was so close, already had the tickets... but then ... oh my. Well this year is the year!

09. Wear Lolita more often and get some new things. Yeah ... explains itself, right?

10. Do something about that sleeping problem...

I think, that's enough for now. Wow, 10 pledes, I hope I can fulfill them! I'm going to do my best.

Souvenirs from Florida

So, everybody I finally managed to break free some time to blog ... of course I'm lying, I still have plenty of time and I'm just like really lazy.

I want to blog about all the "stations" I've passed during my Florida vacation, because it was short (two weeks only), but intense! One of the best vacations of my life!
I think I really like the USA ... I didn't think I would, but it's nice there.

To begin with, I'll show you, what I brought home. Souvenirs are always a very important part of trip to me. It helps me remember all the sweet memories, I had in a different country or with my friends and family. Only problem is ... every year I end up buying way too much!

Well, here is, what I got from my Florida trip:

Plenty, huh? It's not even all!! It's only the stuff I could find the easiest...

Spiralwise from left to right ... only Disney stuff here: Retro Minnie T-Shirt, Mickey egg shaper, Minnie and Donald ball pens, "Four Parks One World" CD, Stitch Dangler (can't believe, some people thought I'd come back without a Stitch...), Hello Kitty Dangler (but bought in Disney World), Marie notebook, Minnie keyring.

Clockwise from left to right: Key Lime cake (A very important cake in Florida ... had some there and I don't like it at all. But hey, I don't have to eat this one.), "I Need My Space" bag from Kennedy Space Center, "Failure Is Not An Option" ball pen from Kennedy Space Center, NYC Sparkle Eye Dust, earrings from MIA, false lashes glue from Ardell.

The top from left to right: Harry Potter Chocolate Frog (they actually have cards, I had Rowena Ravenclaw), Butterbeer mug, "Hot Dance of the Roaring 20s" CD (got this from the Edison house) and a brown belt.

I've made tons of pics I'm going to show your over the next few days. It really was a great trip...

Doll Princess Photo Shoot

So, today I made new pictures for Subarashi Girls.

I wanted to do an indoor shooting for so long, but I was always unsure about the right location and the light and the theme. And it actually was very difficult, because that little room was so dark! I had to work with flashlight, what never turns out well and then edit the pictures immensly. But in the end, they're quite good. I think. Maybe a little blueish, don't you think?
So yeah, of course I can't show you all of my pictures, because they' re due in two weeks. You gotta follow Subarashi Girls if you want to see more. But I can give you a little sneak peek!

Melody in Black Lolita

He~~~y everybody!

Today I finally published a new post on Subarashi Girls.
The new pictures show me in a classic lolita outfit, which I really like! It's not that fancy and rather simple, but I like it so much. Don't ask me why, I just do.

I also had my first wig on ... maybe not the best choice, I've got better ones. But I edited to look like a little bit pop arty... just a little bit. I'd rather have it in dark red ... but it's part of the job and I'm fine with it. This is my second all black&white dress ... and I really hope my closet won't look like a 30s movie...

I only have one dress left to write about (some girls have none!) and I hope our boss will get us some new things soon...

Some purchases

Sooo, lately I've got me some great new stuff to cheer me up from my little downslide. I know, I should find another way but shopping to get over sadness, but it works really well. Maybe I should write, when I'm sad ... or go for a walk ... or sing as loudly as possible.
Well, at least I don't eat to get happy, right?

Still, I want to show you some of the cute things I got!

First, I got a book, that I wanted for long from my beloved Lucy Maud Montgomery (Anne of Green Gables) ... it got here on the same day as my Only You single and my AKB48 album.

Actually, I'm not a very big fan of AKB48 (just TOO many) themselves, but their songs are good! So all I wanted was the regular album, but it was sold out and I got the limited edition with DVD... I haven't watched it yet, but I'm going to! I mean I bought, right? It even got with a photo and several exchangeable covers. I stay with the usual one, but on the inside I now have that girl with the long hair, purple pailette outfit and pink eyeshadow. I have no idea, who she is, but I find her very cute!! I actually like the girls on the back of the CD a lot cuter than the girls on the front...
Morning Musume's Only You ... I preordered it, so it would be counted into the Oricon charts. I love Morning Musume for like 6 years now and I'm buying their singles and albums for maybe 2 1/2 years ... I could have started earlier ... but to make up my delay, I'm buying all the CDs in Japan Version and during the first week or earlier so it'll count at Oricon and support my girls.
I already preordered the next single and it will be released mid September... but it'll be Ai-chan's graduation single an people are already preordering it LIKE CRAZY! So if you want the special edition with Ai-chan's solo song you should preorder it right now! I've ordered the Regular Edition and the Graduation Edition. I've never bought two editions before (money...), but this time I had to. Gotta support Ai-chan and Morning Musume!

Next thing I got was this package from Taiwan.

It's a lot of letter sets

and other cute stuff like wagashi erasers, Rilakkuma Baran or cellphone straps.

And today I got my very first fake eye lashes! It's so cool! I think, I'm a natural talent when it comes to applying them! Or maybe I'm just completly ruining it and don't realizing? Who knows? It's still fun.

Still gotta buy some  glue, but I've read that Douglas and Rossmann offer it.

Okay, I don't know why, but blogspot is flipping some of my pics ... weird. I had to get the upper pics into landscape format so that they'd be displayed right up.

Sweet Lolita Tutorial: Colorful Pop Makeup

Sooo, I've made a video, where you can learn how to get the colorful bonbon look for Lolita. It's a very bright and cute eye shadow look, that is perfect for people, who want to highlight their eyes, not darken them like the all time favourite but sometimes depressing smokey eyes.

What you need for this sweet Lolita bonbon look:
Two strong eyeshadows in turquoise and yellow, a black mascara, a black kohl pencil, a pink precision eyeliner, an applicator and an eye shadow brush.
Learn how to apply the makeup here:

Tokyo Style Check: July 2011

July (and midsummer) are rapidly approaching. Time to check what people might be wearing on the streets of Tokyo!

60s are back! Whether you like the easygoing Hippie style or the girly Student style, plaincolored is a must!
If you want some colorful eyecatcher you can add pattern accessories, but always in combination with muted colors! Blue is a great color this summer.

When it comes to skirts and dresses, there are good news for people, who don't like their legs! Long skirts are hip this summer (do people actually say hip ... maybe I'm not hip anymore?oO) ! They're great to slim strong legs!

For shoes: Sandals. Girly or casual, but alway high-heeled!

Bags with big prints are also great accessories! Dots, patterns, texts ... just BIG!

Finally it's summer. And summer means festivals! Festivals mean Yukata! Flower prints are an all-time favourite.

I hope, you liked it and maybe got some helpful tipps?
Please tell me, what are your trend for July?

Wigs, wigs, wacko?!

I don't like my hair very much. It's just like that, I'm not fond of it. The colour is weird, it hasn't any volume, it's just hanging around and it's quite thin, it's getting greasy so fast. I'm a blonde, that's the only thing I like - being blonde is a great thing. I like it so much, I died my hair to be even blonder. But since I have to wash it so often (every 2,3 days) I'm too lazy to actualy style it. I love curly hair, but it's not worth my time! My styling wouldn't stay longer than any of Paris Hilton's boyfriends.

So, since I'm a model, I had to make my hair often. Very often. It's exhausting! So I've started to buy some wigs. Most people might think that's not necessary, weird, whatever. But I like it. I can try different styles without ruining my hair in some crackbrained action. So if I want to be a brunette for a day, I can!

Strange, huh? I know, why I don't have bangs, but I have to say, I like this one. I have to buy some more... It's refreshingly addicting...
