Disney on Ice 2011: Princesses and Heroes

So, yesterday was the day of Disney on Ice! I wasn't as curious as last year, because the theme was princesses and I really thought it would be to cheesy for me.
What I didn't think of ... less big-headed costumes and more princesses means more serious figure skating! IT WAS AMAZING!!!
There were some costumes like the dwarfs or Lumiere and of course they can't do anything, they have to keep their balance, right? But the boys and girls, who were just in fancy clothes, they could show all their strength!
A bit funny were the "small" characters ... like the dwarfs or Lumiere or Fabius and Sebastian and so on ... they're all taller than everyone else!! Except for Aladdin's Abu, because he was fake... so was Aladdin ... I don't mean to sound rude, but there's no way that guy and Yasmin were somehow Near East related... after all they were Asians.

I didn't take any pictures, because I had my video camera with me, so I'll make a video soon! But here are some official pictures from other sites:

And then my mom bought me this:

Weee, thank you Mama!! It was my very first snow cone! But it wasn't as expensive as in this picture... In was just like 7 Euro, not 15 Dollars ... Jeez, in the US they really skin Disney lovers...

So boring, so boring... and a little Lolita

What can I say?? I REALLY WANT TO BLOG MORE! But I don't know what I can talk about...
Currently, my whole life is just so boring.
Studying, training, rehearsal, studying, training, rehearsal, studing, traning reharsal, sting, tring, resal ... oi vey

IT'S JUST SO BORING!!!
Talking about university really isn't that interesting at all. I have to read a lot and when I'm done with that, I have to read some more...
In my Ancient World seminar we're currently talking about the conflict between Octavian and Antonius, which rings no bells in your mind, right?
It's actually not that bad at all... the main point is all about women during that time and I also have to read this book:

Which is quite good. So far, I've read like 1/3 of the book but I'll keep reading, so next weekend I'll be through half way.

In my Middle Ages seminar we're always talking about the 14th century, which is the topic. Currently we're talking about epidemics. It's really interesting, but also extremely disgusting, too.
Did you know, that the big Black Death epidemic, that killed like 1/3 of the European people, very likely wasn't the Black Death, but another much more dangerous desease.

Most people don't like history, but when you look at it from another point of view, it's often like solving ancient mysteries!

What else?
Oh right! I'll be going to Disney on Ice!! I'm so happy! I'm sure I'll be like the oldest "kid" but it doesn't matter to me.

This year's theme is "Princesses and Heroes", which sounds really cheesy and for girls.

I don't like the "Disney Princesses" concept very much, because I think a girl should slay her own dragons, but what the heck!
I'm sure the music will be great and there'll be some awesome iceskating involved! I hope they'll have Stitch, he always makes my day, but I doubt it... he's not very princessy...

I've also had a new Lolita shooting. It's Classic Lolita again and I feel like they're trying to pigeonhole me as a certain age type.

I really want to wear Sweet Lolita, too!! I'm still a girl! Please stop dressing me like a matron. Not always classic, not always dark colors, not always weird sleeve lengths! Please, either a JSK or an OP ... not these middle sleeves, I never know if I have to wear a blouse or not!
Ha well ... at least, I've managed to get a cute Country Lolita dress ... but it's almost December, damn it! oO

Epcot

On the same day as Animal Kingdom, we've also been to Epcot Center ... which isn't very funny.
Maybe it's just me, but everything feels very grown up, that's too bad.

Epcot means: Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow. SO it's the future, yay!!
...
Well of course it's not, I just wanted to say that.

The landmark is really impressive! It's Spaceship Earth and contains an attraction, where you fly through the society of tomorrow.

Actually, Epcot is a place, where you can learn a lot about environment, technology and more. I think it would be great for a class trip.

They also have this famous World Showcase, with several nations and building from their countries. UNFORTUNATLY my parents thought our ride home would arrive 2 hours earlier than it actually did, so we left the park way to early and had to rush through the World Showcase. I was kinda pissed.
All I got was my Orlando Hello Kitty from Japan and I wish I've had the time to look around more.

This was the German part:

I don't know, why they don't just call it Bavaria...

At the end of the day, we just went to dinner at a nearby Taco Bell and that was it. Really not that interesting, right?

Souvenirs from Florida

So, everybody I finally managed to break free some time to blog ... of course I'm lying, I still have plenty of time and I'm just like really lazy.

I want to blog about all the "stations" I've passed during my Florida vacation, because it was short (two weeks only), but intense! One of the best vacations of my life!
I think I really like the USA ... I didn't think I would, but it's nice there.

To begin with, I'll show you, what I brought home. Souvenirs are always a very important part of trip to me. It helps me remember all the sweet memories, I had in a different country or with my friends and family. Only problem is ... every year I end up buying way too much!

Well, here is, what I got from my Florida trip:

Plenty, huh? It's not even all!! It's only the stuff I could find the easiest...

Spiralwise from left to right ... only Disney stuff here: Retro Minnie T-Shirt, Mickey egg shaper, Minnie and Donald ball pens, "Four Parks One World" CD, Stitch Dangler (can't believe, some people thought I'd come back without a Stitch...), Hello Kitty Dangler (but bought in Disney World), Marie notebook, Minnie keyring.

Clockwise from left to right: Key Lime cake (A very important cake in Florida ... had some there and I don't like it at all. But hey, I don't have to eat this one.), "I Need My Space" bag from Kennedy Space Center, "Failure Is Not An Option" ball pen from Kennedy Space Center, NYC Sparkle Eye Dust, earrings from MIA, false lashes glue from Ardell.

The top from left to right: Harry Potter Chocolate Frog (they actually have cards, I had Rowena Ravenclaw), Butterbeer mug, "Hot Dance of the Roaring 20s" CD (got this from the Edison house) and a brown belt.

I've made tons of pics I'm going to show your over the next few days. It really was a great trip...
